The future is still bright. Cinematographer John Arturo joins projects. They spent 5 months in the library learning how to make a movie.

They try to get more people on board using the internet and create a promotional trailer, website, business plan and take a loan. Budget: $80,000

They order the camera, do a lot of tests and create 2 short films.

Meanwhile they’re casting professional and non-professional actors. But since there’s no money, everyone has to work for free.

The team can finally start production!

Second round of filming.

Then, 5 months of post production. The film doesn’t work. And since everybody works for free, things start to fall apart. John Arturo has to go back to school. “The re-shoots were terrible.”

Kenton works on the film for 4 more months, but the film still doesn’t quite work. He does several basement screenings with friends and family.

Meanwhile, Richey Rynkowski has been working on the (awesome) orchestra music in the film for two years. In April they start recording and the film finally starts to come together.

Worldwide premiere on indie film site Prescreen.
